Marie Heinemann, LCSW, supervises the Autism Care Team at Aetna. She graduated with honors from Widener University with a Master’s Degree in Social Work and is licensed in Pennsylvania as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Marie began her career doing in-home family-based therapy for children with Autism, among other mental health conditions. She has been with Aetna since 2008 and has been managing Applied Behavior Analysis cases for Autism since 2012. In 2017, she co-founded the Autism Care Team at Aetna, a national team dedicated to providing needed support to members and families affected by Autism. The team also focuses on effective and experienced management of Applied Behavior Analysis cases within Aetna.
